How I Tint My Eyebrows At Home For Less Than 2 Bucks

How I Tint My Eyebrows At Home

I’ve been wanting to try microblading for a really long time. In case you’re not aware, microblading is semi-permanent brow tattoos that you have to get retouched ever so often. The thing is, I’m on Tretinoin which is prescription strength retinol. I would have to stop using Tret a couple of weeks before the procedure, up until about two weeks after. Resuming the use of retinol will also cause my newly microbladed brows to fade faster. That doesn’t sound very cost effective to me. Nor am I willing to give up my beloved Tret (my skin adores it). But I’ve found an alternative- eyebrow tinting. I’ve also learned that it’s so easy to tint my eyebrows myself in the comfort of my home. On the cheap at that.

I used to pay $25 every 4-6 weeks to have my brows tinted professionally. Now I tint my eyebrows at home for less than $2 using a Henna Brow Kit. The kit costs $12 and comes with 3 packets of henna color. However, I’m able to get at least three uses from each packet, most of the time four. So technically I’m tinting my brows for about $1! And it’s so easy to do yourself. Watch my DIY Eyebrow Tinting Tutorial to see how!
