I’ve mentioned it a few times here and there… but I’ve never officially introduced you guys to my food blog- Moore Mealz. I love to cook and create new recipes, and I used to post my recipes here on The Glamorous Gleam frequently. I would also regularly cook and share my recipes on my Instagram Stories. My cooking stories became pretty popular. And this made me contemplate starting a new page dedicated to food & cooking. So I did a poll and asked my IG followers if they’d like to see a page just for food, and the response was an overwhelming- YES, PLEASE. I ran with it and created @mooremealz almost exactly two years to date on February 28th.
I thoroughly enjoyed creating content in this new space. So much so, that I decided my recipes deserved their own space in the form of a food blog. Where I could post detailed recipes more frequently, without worrying about dominating the content on Glam Gleam. Thus mooremealz.com was born a month later.
On Moore Mealz, I share quick & easy recipes that teach you how to “put your foot in it”, while making cooking more enjoyable and less of a chore. My recipes are inspired by the Soul Food dishes that I grew up eating, my dining experiences, and experimentation. I’m not afraid to experiment in the kitchen and that’s what makes cooking fun.
I’m a Pescatarian. So you’ll find lots of seafood recipes- like this Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Jerk Salmon Rasta Pasta and Buffalo Shrimp Mac ‘n Cheese. You’ll find some Vegetarian and Vegan options as well. I’m also transitioning to a Gluten Free Diet and feature lots of recipes with gluten substitutes (hello Gluten Free Skillet Cornbread).
I share cooking tutorials on Instagram- in my stories, and with Reels and IGTV. However, I’m planning to take Moore Mealz to the next level this year and bring cooking tutorials to the content line up on my YouTube channel. I also have some other great things in store. So stay tuned…
Please show my food blog Moore Mealz some love & support. Subscribe to my Weekly Mealz Digest. Try, rate & give feedback on my recipes. Follow @mooremealz, and Subscribe on YouTube so that you’ll be the first to know when cooking tutorials are live.
