This is a sponsored post for adidas. However, all opinions are my own.
It’s been almost six months since I started working from home as a result of the pandemic. This was a new concept for me since I’m usually in the office Monday through Friday from 9-5 for my day job. In the beginning I spent most of my days working in pajamas. But after a while, I found that I felt better and was more productive when I actually put on clothes as if I had to go to the office. I’m now working a rotating schedule- a week in the office followed by a week at home. And I get dressed for both scenarios. Some of you may have completely returned to the office or may be working a rotating schedule similar to mine. While some of you are still working from home for the foreseeable future. Whatever your situation may be, I encourage you to get up, dress up & show up. Even if that’s virtually. Here are some work from home outfits for inspiration.
Athleisure is one of my favorite types of work from home outfits. It’s the type of ‘fit that can be worn for athletic activities, but also for running errands, chillin’ in the house and going to the office. Depending on your office dress code that is. If your office environment doesn’t allow for athleisure, then you can take advantage of the opportunity to wear your gear while working from home. I pull out my adidas Superstar Track Pants at least once a week. Along with these adidas Ultraboost 20 kicks as they feel like slippers with soles. They’re super comfortable to lounge around in and also great for running.
The slip dress is a staple in my closet as it’s such a versatile (and glamorous) piece. It can be worn for any occasion. A date. Brunch with the girls. Shopping in the city or to work- in the office or at home. When wearing a slip dress to the office, I usually pair it with a blazer or a duster. Then ditch the jacket for after work fun. But you have the freedom to not wear a jacket at all when working from home (and easily throw one on for virtual meetings). You can dress up your slip dress with a pair of kitten heel mules, or dress it down with sneakers. Depending on the season, you can even layer it with a tee or turtleneck for a whole new look.
Cute & Comfortable
A satin cami with a pair of mom jeans is one of my go to looks for any occasion. It’s also one of my go to work from home outfits. The look is super cute, yet comfortable. You can add a blazer or cardigan. Layered necklaces. And even a headwrap for those days that you just can’t be bothered with doing your hair. Add some fuzzy slides and you’re ready to face whatever the day brings your way in comfort and style.
Classy In Classics
The wrap dress is a classic wardrobe staple. Especially a black wrap dress. Its classy yet simple. Comfortable. And can be worn for any occasion. Making it perfect for working from home. Pair your wrap dress with some leopard mules and some anklets and you’re good to go. Or stay 😘
If you work in a corporate setting and have to dress up for the office on a daily basis, then you may look forward to Casual Friday. When you can loosen up just a bit. Well every day can be Casual Friday when you’re working from home. Pair some high waist, wide legged pants with a graphic tee for an ultra cute Friday ‘fit. Polka dot print pants are so fun and in right now. Finish off the look with some classic kicks and you’ll be ready to sashay straight into the weekend when 5 pm hits.
The Athleisure is my favorite right now. I’ve been wearing my sundresses while working from home. Fall is coming so I like the athleisure look!
Yes, the athleisure look is so chic and comfortable, and will be perfect for Fall!
