In case you’ve been looking for the Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme, you wont find it. The foundation received a facelift. It’s now called the Ultimate Coverage 24 Hr Foundation, and it’s housed in new glass packaging. This was a great move on the brand’s part as you can now get a sense of the shade by looking at the bottle. More importantly though, the formula remains the same. This makes me so happy as the Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme is my favorite full coverage foundation. You can see my full review here.
With the new packaging comes two new shades for the brown skinned beauties- Walnut and Chestnut. Becca’s range includes a fair amount of shades for women of color. So I’m glad to see the range expanding.
Walnut – warm medium brown, red undertones
Chestnut – deepest brown, neutral undertones (darkest shade)
My go to shade for year round is Sienna, a warm brown with neutral undertones. And I use Mahogany for end of Summer which is bronze chocolate, with warm undertones. The Becca Ultimate Coverage foundation works well for any occasion. It’s extremely pigmented so all you need is one pump for full coverage. You can also mix it with your primer on a palette to sheer it down. It wears well and photographs flawless. Get into it!
