Sometimes you want that next level, visible from outer space highlight. And the average highlighter just won’t do. In comes holographic highlighters. They will be all the rage this Spring. Get your holo glow on with the Urban Decay Disco Queen Collection. The collection features the Disco Queen Holographic Highlight Powder and Holographic Disco Stick.
The Urban Decay Disco Queen Holographic Highlight Powder is a translucent, iridescent lavender powder with a blue holographic sheen. The lightweight formula is infused with lustrous pearl pigments. Use a little for a subtle glow. Or layer it up for a high-watt highlight that’s sure to draw stares.
The Urban Decay Holographic Disco Stick creates a hyper dimensional glow. Traveling pigments appear to change colors right before the eyes. At times it appears to be purple. Then it flashes teal and blue. Its gorgeous.
The lightweight formula glides on smooth and dries down to an airy finish. Wear it alone. Or layer it with the holographic powder for a high intensity look.
I decided to be creative and used the Disco Queen Holographic Highlight Powder on my lids as eyeshadow. Then dabbed the Disco Stick on my cheekbones with my fingers to highlight. I added a little Fenty Ginger Binge Killawatt on top to tone it down a little since I was going to work. I’m also wearing the Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Holographic Lip Gloss in Snapped. It pairs perfectly with the Disco Queen highlighters.
My skin is definitely glowing. It’s hard to capture on camera, but close up you can see the different color reflects on my cheekbones. I thought I’d be on “team tew much” wearing holographic highlighter. But I love the look. I can’t wait to try the collection for a night on the town so I can be extra and layer both the powder and stick. You’re going to see my highlight from outer space lol.
