I immediately fell in love with the Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick when it was released earlier this year. I only wished that there were more shades. Although the nudes were super pretty, the formula was too good not to do a shade a expansion. Well my wish has finally been granted. Make Up For Ever has released nine new shades of the Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick, and PR sent me over seven for review consideration.
The Artist Liquid Matte lipsticks are extremely matte, super pigmented and lightweight. The formula includes beeswax for long-lasting wear and avocado oil for soft, nourished lips. A doe foot wand makes application easy and precise. You can see my full review and swatches of the other shades here.
The formula remains the same and the new shades are straight poppin’…
205 Mauvy Pink, 207 Raspberry, 301 Rust, 401 Red,
403 Deep Red, 501 Purple, 505 Blackcurrant
I’m wearing 501 Purple which looks gawjus on chocolate skin. I love all of the shades aside from 301 rust which is not my cup of tea. The MUFE Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick is still my favorite matte liquid lipstick formula aside from The Lip Bar. The pigmentation is amazing and the formula feels so comfortable on the lips. Now I want some more shades!
The Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick is available at Sephora and Make Up For Ever, online and in-store $20 each
