After celebrating my 35th Birthday with my girls at Beauty & Essex, the saga continued the next day. My son treated me to dinner at Sweet Chick Prospect Heights. He made sure that he saved money from his Summer job to take me out and get me few gifts. Including the earrings that I wore for the night. I’m so proud of the young man that I’m raising and truly appreciate him being so thoughtful.

We enjoyed our dinner and had so much fun. We always do.

My young man is growing up so nicely.

I had the General Tso’s Vegetarian Fried Chicken with a Spiced Pecan Waffle. My son had the same, but with regular fried chicken. We both enjoyed our food but couldn’t finish. So we packed up the leftovers to take home. They didn’t last long once we got there lol.

We finished off the evening with some shaved ice cream from Snow Days Cafe for dessert.

I had the New York Cheesecake shaved cream with brownies and chocolate sauce. My son went with the Yetitracks shaved cream which is Snowdays version of cookies n’ cream. He also chose the brownies and chocolate sauce.

We ate our shaved cream on the walk home while chatting it up about our usual random stuff. It was a great night out with my boy. I thoroughly enjoyed Sweet Chick Prospect Heights, Snowdays and my son’s company.
