I only purchased a few items at The Makeup Show NYC since I didn’t need much (recap coming soon). What I did buy is from black-owned beauty brands. I got an up close and personal look at products from Danessa Myricks Beauty at The Makeup Show Spring Trend Report Event earlier this year. I fell in love with the Enlight Illuminators and couldn’t wait to buy one at The Makeup Show. If you don’t know who Danessa Myricks is you’re missing out. She’s a Pro MUA, Photographer, and an all around Magical Black Girl. Now let’s get to this amazing highlighter.
Danessa Myricks Enlight Illuminators are subtle yet buildable highlighters that gives the skin a soft, sophisticated glow. The powder is formulated with micronized pigments and blends seamlessly into the skin creating a natural glow. That lit from within glow.
Danessa Myricks Enlight in Gocha Glow
Gocha Glow is a luminous duo-tone essence of golden peach. It looks amazing on dark skin. And doesn’t have any chunks of glitter so you won’t look like a disco ball. However, it builds up nicely if you want that “visible from space” type of highlight. I’ve been wearing Gocha Glow daily since I got it. And it’s all that I expected it to be. A light swipe has my cheekbones lit just enough for work without being OD. Some days I can’t help but OD though. What can I say, I like to get my glow on!
