Another one of my closet staples for Fall is a good pair of over the knee boots. I’m totally obsessed. OTK boots look amazing with mini dresses, and the extra length allows me to forego wearing tights. When I say mini dresses I mean swing dresses specifically. Swing dresses pair perfectly with otk boots as they add balance. The Libra in me requires balance, even when it comes down to fashion. Wearing a dress too tight and short with thigh high boots looks streetwalker-ish. That’s never a good look. Plus, I love the 60’s vibe of swing dresses paired with otk boots.
I’m also totally obsessed with marled knits. I have so many marled pieces in my closet that it’s not even funny. And I can’t help but buy more. Marled is the perfect neutral print that goes with everything.

A sweater swing dress will carry you straight through Fall and into the Winter season. Just add a thick pair of tights or leggings in the colder months. I’m going to have to add a few more to my closet.
This look is so simple, yet sexy and chic. It took me from work to an after work event.
Be careful though if your employer is strict about hem lines. Add black tights to avoid issues.
