This Film Noir Makeup Look features extreme winged liner, heavy contouring, and a bold, vampy lip. The look is inspired by the makeup looks worn in 1940’s cinema, and the vamp lip makes it perfect for Fall. I used MAC Film Noir Lipstick. It’s a deep brown with red undertones and a Satin finish. As the name suggests, Film Noir is the perfect shade for a Film Noir inspired makeup look.

In addition to the lipstick, I also used MAC Film Noir Blush to contour because it’s great for creating a heavy contour on dark skin.

I also used MAC Club Eyeshadow. The duochrome finish makes the shade amazing for creating dramatic and alluring eyes. On another note, I recently invested in a Neewer Ring Light for filming my tutorials. As a result, the quality of my video and photos is so much better. This was a great investment.

Loving this look! Can you do a post using Mac Antique Velvet lipstick?
Thank you so much. Unfortunately I don’t have Antique Velvet, but it looks like it could be a dupe for Film Noir. It’s just matte instead of satin.
What a really pretty look! The eyeshadow is my favorite, never seen highlights like that on eyeshadow.
Thank you so much. Club is definitely one of my favorites!
love the tutorial thank you! the lipstick and contouring are perfect! I love the color of your backdrop– it makes your features and skin tone stand out and looks very professional. what color is your backdrop and how did you set it up? thank you for all the brown girl beauty advice:)
You’re welcome, and thank you so much. It’s actually just my living room wall. It’s off white, but the daylight bulbs makes it look a little cooler toned 🙂
