A closet full of clothes but nothing to wear. That was the story of my life. Not anymore though. I’ve been doing an overhaul of my wardrobe over the last year and getting rid of the stuff that no longer fits my style, or that I simply don’t wear. I now only buy a select few items that I really love, and every season I go through my closet and get rid of anything that doesn’t fit the bill. My goal is to maintain a Minimalist Wardrobe. It makes getting dressed so much easier. This type of minimalist outfit is basically my daily uniform. I’ve always been a fan of wearing mostly neutrals. In fact, the majority of my closet consists of pieces in neutral tones with pops of color here and there. The exception is my Summer wardrobe when I wear lots of dresses in fun colors and prints. I like to add color in the form of accessories and lipstick. Small doses of color can take an outfit from drab to fab.

Working on a minimalist wardrobe has encouraged me to apply minimalism to my everyday life. We hoard things that we don’t need and always want more. I’m constantly looking for things in my home that I can do without to round up and give away. Whether it be clothing, shoes, accessories, makeup, etc., I’ve realized that you only need but so much. I’ve learned to stop wasting so much money on material items that I don’t need. Memories from experiences last longer. This realization has been so freeing. I’m still a work in progress but I’m getting there.
There’s Something So Chic About Simplicity.

I did the same thing everywhere in my home. Did you read Marie Kondo book, the magic of tidying up?
she has some great information on decluttering once and for all. You look gorgeous in your photo.
Thank you so much hun. I will surely look this book up as I can use more tips. I’m trying to make a permanent lifestyle change.
Work in progress too, but doing much better.
Take it step by step hun
Girl you so darn fine ?. Definitely my role model when it comes to fashion, hair and makeup
Awwww thank you so much! ☺️
Fab as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks boo! xo
I’ve been such a fan since seeing your natural hair journey on You-tube. I love your classy style. I too am learning to only keep the things in my wardrobe that I truly wear. It’s so true, for fashion lovers to get caught up in that rut of ” Ew,ew got to have it!”
My house is small & I’m Spring Cleaning this weekend because I feel so overwhelmed by the amounts of clothes, shoes, boots, handbags, etc. Some I’ve never even worn/used. Sinful. ? Someone purchasing at the Salvation Army is going to be very happy.. Thanks for sharing. You’re an amazing young lady! ⭐
You are very welcome, and thank you so much! ☺️
I love love LOOOVe those shoes! i’ve been the same way lately. I just want to keep things to a minimum and I recently overhauled my closet and did a massive clean out. Shoes I hadn’t worn in over two years etc were tossed.
Thank you so much hun. Sounds like you did the same exact thing as myself. Less is best!
Minimalist dressing is always less complicated because u can get many looks from interchanging basics and adding a splash of color to suit ur mood. Accessories always jazz things up a bit, and let’s not forget about makeup haha! Loving the look as always mama #cleanandclassy
Thank you, exactly what I was going for! 🙂
My type of style.. clean, streamlined, minimal, and no fuss. Well done and put together.
Thank you! 🙂

I get what you are saying, I’m trying to declutter my life as well. Have you heard of Marie Kondo?
