3 Face Oils For Gorgeous, Glowing Skin

Face Oils can rejuvenate your dry, dull and washed out Winter complexion for gorgeous, glowing skin right in time for Spring. Here are my favorites.

Face Oils for Glowing Skin

Winter can wreak havoc on the skin. Especially the face, leaving you looking dry, dull and washed out. Face Oils can rejuvenate the complexion and give you back that gorgeous, glowing skin right in time for Spring. If you suffer from severely dry skin, then you can really benefit from using a face oil in combination with your moisturizer to help boost hydration. If you’re an oily girl like myself, face oils can actually help to combat oiliness. Now I know you’re probably giving me the side eye right now but trust me, face oils work for oily skin as well. Lately I’ve been using them in lieu of my nightly moisturizer and I wake up looking radiant and fresh faced, no oil in sight. Here are my favorites.

L'Occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil

The L’Occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil is enriched with 5% Shea and Marula Oils. With nourishing and antioxidant properties, the formula helps to regenerate skin by strengthening it’s barrier function. The oil is very light and silky with a dry finish and sinks right into the skin, leaving it moisturized and glowing. It pairs nicely with the L’Occitane Shea Soothing Fluid for an extra boost of moisture.

Pixi Skintreats Rose Oil Blend

The Pixi Rose Oil Blend from the Pixi SkinTreats Collection is a botanical blend infused with a powerful complex of youth-preserving oils to help improve skin’s elasticity and glow. Sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed, and rose geranium oils nourish the complexion, leaving the skin comforted & smooth to the touch. The Rose Oil Blend has a light, soothing rose scent and is extremely rich and moisturizing. One drop goes a long way. I use it in combination with the Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic and it leaves my skin looking amazing.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil

The Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil is formulated with 9 luxurious natural oils including coconut, apricot kernel, grape seed extract, sunflower, evening primrose, sesame, jojoba, babassu and mimosa oils. The oil instantly hydrates to reveal luminous skin, smoothes texture and evens tone. It has a light citrus scent and a few drops applied before bed keeps my skin hydrated and radiant, helping to maintain my youthful appearance. It’s even light enough to mix with a drop or two of the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops to make a tinted face oil moisturizer. I haven’t been bold enough to try that yet though and stick with using face oils only at night. It would probably work wonders to give dry skin a gorgeous glow though. No?

  1. Great post! How does the L’Occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil smell? Marula Oil in some products doesn’t smell pleasant to me. What’s your take on it?

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Olay Regenerist products. I’m going to check it out. Thanks, Gorgeous!

    1. You’re welcome hun. The L’Occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil has a light, sweet scent. If you’ve ever used the L’Occitane Shea Hand Cream it has the same scent. I hope that helps!

    1. I would start with the Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil. It was my very first and the one that made me fall in love with face oils.
