Disclaimer: I am a Black Queen and FAR from a Trap Queen. Don’t get it twisted. I always wear my invisible crown, as us Queens should. The title of this post is an ode to the lipstick that I’m wearing- ColourPop Trap, whose name was inspired by Fetty Wap’s hit song “Trap Queen”. It’s a dusty greige (greyed out beige) with rosy undertones. Trap is muted and bold at the same time. A nude that can be pulled off by any complexion or skin tone, from the palest to the deepest. You just have to know how to rock it. I’m currently obsessed with Pantone Color of the Year Rose Quartz (blush), and Colourpop Trap looked fierce with my Rose Quartz fur (which I’ll be featuring in an outfit post soon). This was the perfect look for a NYFW event.
I’m trying to get back to posting makeup looks on the regular for you guys. I got some really good shots of this look while photographing my hair, so here you go. It’s nothing fancy- just a nude but defined eye, chiseled face and poppin’ lip.
Speaking of my hair, I did my Finger Coil Out with products from the Cantu Shea Butter Natural Hair Collection. Check out the post for deets.
