Top 10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2015

My Top Ten Favorite Beauty Products of 2015. The products that I loved in 2015, and plan to keep in heavy rotation in 2016.

First and foremost, Happy New Year guys! I took a little break to enjoy the holidays with my family, but I’m back. Let’s start the year off with my annual favorite beauty products round up. With such a huge beauty stash and so many new products coming in daily, I tend to love products for a little while before tossing them aside for a new love. Last year was a little different. I’m amazed at the amount of products that I loved in 2015 and plan to keep in heavy rotation for 2016, a lot of which are holy grail products for my natural hair. Here’s my Top 10 Favorite Beauty Products of 2015 (in no particular order.)

Cover FX Custom Cover Drops N110

1. Cover FX Custom Cover Drops

Such a versatile product and covers all grounds. Mix it with your favorite moisturizer to make your own tinted moisturizer. Adjust the shade of that foundation that just doesn’t match as well as you thought it did. Increase the coverage of that foundation that you have to layer too much. The possibilities are endless.

MAC Nightmoth

2. MAC Nightmoth Lip Pencil

My. Favorite. Lip. Pencil. EVER. I barely wore any other lip liner last year. Nightmoth just goes with everything, I’m going to need a back up or two soon!

Anastasia Contour Cream Kit Deep

3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit

I use the Anastasia Contour Cream Kit in deep everyday to clean up my brows and contour my face, and plan to continue to do so. When my favorite shades run out (which doesn’t appear to be anytime soon) I’ll order refills.

OCC Lip Tar RTW Review

4. OCC Lip Tar RTW

The best thing that OCC ever did was put the lip tars in a tube with an easy to use applicator. It makes them so much easier to apply and I now wear my lip tars more often. I’m going to have to transfer my older lip tars into tubes with doe foot wands so that I’ll wear them more too. I’ll give you guys an update when I do.

Kat Von D Shate + Light Eye Contour Palette

5. Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette

This palette is perfect for the matte nude eye lover (ME!). You can create any matte nude eye look imaginable, and it’s also perfect for highlighting the brow bone, deepening the crease and creating a smoky eye.

Gorilla Snot Gel Review

6. Gorilla Snot Gel

The best edge control gel that I’ve tried so far, it keeps these 4c edges laid. As simple as that!

SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Leave In Conditioner

7. SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave-In

This leave-in conditioner keeps my hair extremely soft, moisturized and manageable. It’s my go to, and my son loves it too. We are on our fourth jar.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle

8. SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle

This gel provides a soft yet strong hold, and leaves my hair shiny and moisturized for days. It gives me an amazing Finger Coil-Out and a super defined Twist Out when combined with the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie.

Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel

9. Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel

This is the only Eco Styler formula that I’ve tried. It works so well that I never felt the need to try the other formulations. Provides a firm hold without leaving the hair crispy, and it doesn’t flake. Perfect for Brush, Sponge and Finger Coils, Finger Shingles, Twist Outs, Perm Rod Sets, Wash ‘n Go’s… you name it. I’ll always keep a jar in my hair arsenal.

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid

10. Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Keeps my skin looking amazing. It’s been fading my old dark marks nicely and gets rid of new pimples quick.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite beauty products of 2015?
