Laura Geller sent me over some of their new Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks that launched this Summer, and OMG how cute and unique was the package. Included was some delicious jelly candies that brought back childhood memories, along with a stack of metallic lipstick printed napkins which will be perfect for my next Girls’ Night. Big thanks to the Laura Geller team for the goodies. Now about those lipsticks… there are twelve shades in the collection and I was sent six.
The Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks are formulated with loose pigments that are baked with a complex of Almond, Apricot Butter and Sunflower Oil for 12 hours to create round, smooth color pigments.
The print on the lipstick is so chic. It immediately reminded me of GOT (Game of Thrones) since it looks like dragon scales. If Daenerys carried a lipstick this would probably be it. The curved shape makes for easy application, it’s like lining your lips and applying lipstick in one step.
Left to right:
Tribeca Tan, peach toned nude
Bleeker St. Peach, pale bubblegum pink
Madison Ave Pink, bright fuchsia
Mulberry Street, muted magenta
Fifth Ave Ruby, true red
Broadway Plum, red-toned plum
The lipstick feels amazing on the lips! The formula is very lightweight (almost gel like) and glides on smooth with great pigmentation. It wears well for hours without the need for touch ups, even through a light meal with a drink… and it doesn’t leave a stain. Best of all, the lipsticks are very moisturizing. I’ve been wearing mostly matte lipsticks for weeks now and my poor lips are super dry and suffering. This lipstick gave me immediate relief, even without applying a moisturizing balm first. My favorite is hands down Broadway Plum, check it out on…
Perfect for the upcoming seasons. The Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks are available at Nordstrom, Ulta, Macy’s & Laura Geller $21
