I’m a huge fan of the Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipsticks. They are some of the of the best at the drugstore and can go toe to toe against high end brands. Vamp It Up is a shade that I’ve had in my MUA Kit for years but not in my personal collection. I wanted a new really deep purple lipstick for Fall. I was going to purchase MAC Cyber when I remembered that Vamp It Up is a dupe. I’m all about saving some coins, so the Wet ‘n Wild version was the obvious choice.
Richly pigmented and long wearing, the Megalast demi-matte cream lipsticks are formulated with plant extracts, vitamins and an exclusive polymer complex to smooth lips and make them cushiony and plump. The flat top makes it a little difficult to apply evenly around the lip line. But over time I’ve learned to work with it. It’s best to apply a lip liner in a complimentary shade first for more precise application.
Wet ‘n Wild Vamp It Up is a deep eggplant purple. I have similar shades in my collection but no dupes.
Vamp It Up, Sleek Makeup True Color Lipstick in Mulberry, Nicka K Amethyst
Vamp It Up is the ultimate vamp lipstick as the name suggests. It’s very bold so not for the shy or faint of heart. If you’re going to wear a shade like this you have to completely own it. I like to keep the rest of my look simple and let my lips take center stage.
You better OWN this look, girl! And the hair! STAYS FIERCE! You make short natural hair look freakin revolutionary. I haven’t commented in a while but still read regularly. You never fail to impress with your style sense. I have Cyber & I plan to pull it out tomorrow- thanks to this post 🙂
Thank you so much hun. I’ve been having so much fun trying different styles on my TWA. I never would have thought that I would love my natural hair so much! 🙂
It is super pretty. I recommended it to a friend a few months ago along with ‘Feminist’ by ColouPop who was looking for a deep purple or blackish-purple lipstick.
Yes I love it!
