Fall Lip Pick: NYX Copenhagen Soft Matte Lip Cream

When Fall rolls in it's time to give your brights a break and let your vamps get some airtime. NYX Copenhagen is perfect for the season.

Don’t let the heat wave fool you, Vamp Season is almost upon us and I want to make sure that your lip stash is ready. When Fall rolls in it’s time to give your brights a break and let your vamps get some airtime. That’s not to say that you can’t wear vamps in the Summer and brights in the Fall though… I don’t discriminate and wear whatever color fits my mood and look regardless of the season. Moving on, today I bring you NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen. I received this shade in my gift bag from The MakeUp Show NYC Blogger Preview and I can’t believe that I waited so long to wear it!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Copenhagen

A lipstick and lipgloss hybrid, the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream applies smooth like silicone and dries down to a matte finish. The doe foot wand makes application seamless and since it’s so pigmented you don’t have to apply much. The formula smells like vanilla cake batter (sooooo good), hydrates the lips and is very long lasting. I was able to wear it for five hours without having to retouch even while drinking, but if you eat anything greasy you’ll need to reapply. The lip cream is easy to remove with an oil based remover and doesn’t leave a stain.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Copenhagen with MAC Nightmoth

My favorite way to wear it is lined with MAC Nightmoth Lip Pencil (which I’ll be posting about soon as it’s another must have.) This will be one of my go to looks for the season. Make sure that you add NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen to your collection and stay tuned as I have some more Fall Lip Picks coming soon.

NYX Copenhagen is available at NYX and Ulta $6

  1. This is so cute. Please what eye-shadow did you use in these pictures?
I love how subtle it is. Thank you.

  2. Your hair is giving me life!!! Is there a tutorial on how to do the Marge Simpson life? The whole look is gorgeous!

    1. Thank you so much. I haven’t done a tutorial for that style yet, it’s a stretched wash n’ go. I’ll try to get it up soon! 🙂
