Birthday Behavior At TAO Downtown

On Saturday I had a small birthday dinner with some of my closest girls at NYC Hot Spot, TAO Downtown. The place was absolutely beautiful and the food and drinks were delicious. I had an amazing time. It was EXTREMELY dark inside but I managed to get some pics (although they may not be of the best quality.)

I purchased this Tie Dye Maxi Dress from Forever 21 back in the Spring, and since I didn’t get a chance to wear it over the Summer I decided to wear it for my birthday dinner with some simple barely there sandals. OCC Lip Tar/ RTW in Technopagan complimented the dress nicely.

I wasn’t exaggerating when I said that it was really dark. I had to be extra careful not to tumble down the stairs. My table was all the way in the back of the main floor, in front of the Buddha statue… and Malik Yoba was sitting at the table right in front of mine 🙂

Seafood Black Rice. This was so good, I’m going to have to try and replicate it!

Bread Pudding Donuts with Brandy Ice Cream. Deelish.

It was a great night and I’m blessed to have such amazing friends. I was indecisive this year and planned this dinner at the very last minute, yet my girls still came out to celebrate. I truly appreciate them… along with my girls that couldn’t make it out. No worries, I still love ya’ll too lol xo
