Butter London has teamed up with Allure Magazine to create the limited edition Allure & Butter London Arm Candy Collection. The collection was inspired by the runways, street-style blogs and Pinterest to create unique and unusual shades that they’ve looked for but could never find. It consists of six full size individual lacquers and four miniature bottles sold as a set, and the collection will be available until March 2016. I was sent over the six full size shades for review.
The shade set is the perfect selection for the upcoming Fall & Winter seasons and has a nice variety of finishes, four cremes, a metallic and a glitter.
I’m On The List, rose gold metallic
Nude Stilettos, sheer pink-nude creme
It’s Vintage, opaque rust creme (My fave!)
Statement Piece, opaque orange red creme
Lust or Must?, opaque charcoal brown creme
Disco Nap, charcoal glitter (Perfect for the holiday season!)
All of the shades were swatched without a base or top coat and has two coats which was enough to achieve complete opacity. Nude Stiletto could use a third coat though since it’s so sheer. The lacquers apply smooth and buttery and there were no application issues at all. I can’t comment on wear yet as I’ve just applied Statement Piece last night for a test run. I’ll update this post if I run into any issues with wear. Overall, I absolutely love the shade selection and know I will be rocking them to death this Fall and Winter, especially It’s Vintage… it’s such a gorgeous and unique shade! Here’s a peek at the 4-Piece Fashion Lacquer Collection…
