New 2015 E.L.F. Cosmetics Products That Are Worthy Of A Spot In Your Makeup Collection

A peek at the E.L.F. Cosmetics 2015 product launches and upcoming holiday collections. Here's what's worthy of adding to your collection.

elf 2015 launches

Last week I attended the e.l.f. Play Beautifully event where we got an up close and personal look at the new 2015 product launches and the upcoming holiday collections. I received a bag of goodies to take home for review consideration, and these are the goodies that I fell in love with and that actually work for us Brown Skinned Beauties. After seeing the shade range of the new foundation I was afraid that the brand was now a lost cause, and after seeing the face products that was included in my bag I was truly disappointed. Brown girls will do best to stick with the eye and lip products, skincare and brushes… oh and the old line of foundation and tinted moisturizer that actually cater to our complexions. Moving on…

elf ultimate kabuki brush

I absolutely love the Ultimate Kabuki Brush. The multi-tasker can be used for highlighting, contouring and stippling. It’s not firm enough for my taste to apply my cream contour, but it seamlessly applies and blends powder blush, bronzer and highlighters. It’s also great quality and super inexpensive at $10 compared to similar brushes from high end brands.

elf blemish control primer

The Blemish Control Primer is something that I was excited to try as I love the Mineral Infused Primer. The Blemish Control Primer is infused with Salicylic Acid, Vitamin E, and Tea Tree extract to help control breakouts and blemishes while prepping your skin for makeup. It’s too soon for me to speak on the blemish control properties, but my makeup applies well and holds tight when using this primer. It has a lotion like consistency so I skip the moisturizer when using this primer and allow it to sink in and dry completely. Liquid foundation applies great on top using a Beauty Blender, and it stays perfect for at least 5 hours before I have to blot my dreaded oily t-zone.

It’s such a universally flattering shade, looks gorgeous on and stays put all day without budging, smudging or fading!

elf beautifully bare lash tint

Last but definitely not least, the Beautifully Bare Lash Tint Mascara is my current fave for Summer. The tiny brush gets all up in my barely there lashes, evenly coating them with a light layer of mascara that doesn’t clump or flake. It’s perfect for getting the bottom and hard to reach inner corner lashes. Nothing dramatic, but highly functional.
