I absolutely loved the maxi tee with splits trend from last year but never took a jab at it myself as everyone and their momma was wearing it, and the same exact way. It looks as if the trend is still going hard for this Spring & Summer so when I spotted this maxi tee on Forever 21, I just knew that I had to have it. It’s not like all of the rest and it can be worn so many different ways, with pants, a skirt, shorts, over a dress, as a swim cover up and so on. I have to order the black one asap as I plan to rock the hell out of these tees all Summer long. This is how I wore it to The Makeup Show NYC Blogger Preview last weekend.
I didn’t get to take pictures until that night and it was pretty windy out… which worked to my benefit lol. The wind really widens the split so you’ll need to wear a little more than a bra if you don’t want to show too much skin. I’m wearing a cropped lace bustier.
It was a little chilly out so I just threw my leather motorcycle jacket on top.
