This dress has made an appearance on the blog on multiple occasions (you can see it here and here.) The thing is, it’s my favorite dress and I wear it a lot. It’s been going strong for 3 years now. As soon as the weather breaks it’s one of the first to come out of the closet. I love the print and it’s such a versatile piece. I can wear it alone, add a blazer for work or a denim jacket to dress it down. I pulled it out this weekend to wear to brunch with the girls at 739 Franklin.
I’ve had this denim jacket since college, it’s at least 10 years old. I’ve accumulated multiple holes in the sleeves and around the wrists but they look like they’re part of the original style. It just gets better with age.

Now brunch at 739 Franklin Bar & Lounge was delicious. The menu is not very extensive but there is something for everyone, and the meal came with the choice of a Mimosa, Sangria or Bloody Mary. Two of us decided on the French Toast and the other two had Fish Tacos, we all had Mimosas.
I had the French Toast with Turkey Sausage and it was so good, but I had a taste of the Fish Tacos and will be getting that next time. I had a Groupon deal which was $39 for brunch for four. There is also a deal for Brunch for 2 at $19. Both deals are still available, check them out here. We will definitely be going back again.
Since my son wanted doughnuts we took a walk to Doughnut Plant for dessert. I’m always taking pictures of food before I eat lol (Check out my cuz Mo looking flyyyyy in the background!
I had the Chocolate Hazelnut and Creme Brûlée Doughseeds and both were delicious. My son had the Vanilla Bean yeast doughnut and Oatmeal Cake doughnut and he enjoyed both. I had a taste of the Oatmeal and it really was good. We walked home to walk it all off.
I had an extremely busy but fun filled weekend and I’m looking forward to many more since the weather is finally being kind.

I love this dress it looks just as good everytime and I love seeing people rewear items. You always eat the best looking dishes!
Thank you so much, Venessia. I tend to hold on to pieces for a very long time. I used to not wear one piece too much so I won’t look like I’m wearing the same thing over and over but these days I could care less, if I love it I wear it however much I want 🙂
U got that right. Grown stuff.
So pretty! I need to pull my relentlessly red out too!
Thank you. I don’t wear it enough at all!
I love tribal prints–really feeling that dress! And French Toast is my FAVORITE MMM!
That is OK if we’ve seen the dress before–clothes are made to worn! Nobody spends their hard earned money to wear something one time. I’m not about that life! 😉
Amen to that! Lol 🙂
