I already showed you guys the Milani Fierce Foil Eyeshines & Eyeliners, now I’m back with the lip gloss. The Milani Fierce Foil Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss is formulated with dazzling multidimensional pearlescent that captures the light and makes the lips pop, sparkle and shine… but the effect is chic, not mega-glitzy. There are six shades available named for Italy’s starriest cities, I was sent over Florence & Milan for review.
The Fierce Foil Lip Gloss is sheer, not too tacky or goopy and it applies smooth. No chunky glitter or grit. It feels very moisturizing and did not dry out my lips like a lot of glosses with sparkles can. It has good pigmentation for a gloss and wears well, leaving a stain as it wears off. Reapplication is necessary after a meal though to maintain shine. The doe foot applicator (sorry I forgot to take a pic) makes it easy to I apply but I highly suggest using a clear lip liner with this gloss as it has the tendency to bleed outside of the lip line.
Florence, cranberry red with purple reflects
Milan, gold with multicolored reflects
Although Florence looks more like a berry shade in the tube and when swatched, when applied to the lips you can see that it’s really more of a cranberry red (even more so on me) and you can see the purple reflects where the light hits. It’s gorgeous but I wish it was true to the shade in the tube. I haven’t actually tried Milan yet but plan to top some nude lipstick with it for a night out with the girls. It looks like it will be perfect for that.
If you want to add some sparkle to your makeup life then the Milani Fierce Foil Lip Gloss is for you. It’s a must have for them Spring and Summer nights out or in the daytime if you’re bold! 😉
