Bodyography Electric Lip Slide Caught In The Act

I've completely fallen in love with this Bodyography Electric Lip Slide. Shiny, creamy, super saturated pigmentation and ultra moisturizing? I can dig it.

I’ve been testing out a few of the goodies that I received in my swag bag from the LuLu’s Style Studio NYFW event and I’ve completely fallen in love with this Electric Lip Slide from Bodyography. I don’t know what rock I’ve been under as I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Bodyography (bad beauty blogger, I know) but the brand has my full attention now. I believe that I may have seen them at IMATS or The Makeup Show now that I think about it if that makes it better. I’m going to need to add a few more every shade to my collection!

Electric Lip Slide is a hybrid of a lipstick, lipgloss and stain infused with natural butters and Vitamin E. The result is a shiny, creamy and extremely moisturizing long wear lip color with super saturated pigmentation. There are 10 shades available and I received Caught In The Act, a vibrant hot pink.

A doe foot wand makes it easy to precisely apply the lip color with minimal mistakes.

The Electric Lip Slide feels so good on the lips and is very pigmented with just one swipe. It stayed put for 6+  hours without needing a single touch up. When I did decide to touch it up at lunch time it wasn’t really necessary as it had left a very visible stain on the lips. It does not leave the lips dry like some lip stains can and was indeed extremely moisturizing. My lips felt plush and lush all day long. Here is how it looks on…

I absolutely adore Caught In The Act and I’m in love with the Bodyography Electric Lip Slides. Shiny, creamy, super saturated pigmentation and ultra moisturizing all while being gluten and paraben free? I can dig it. I plan to get a few more… They vibrant purple shade, Lip Sink is definitely on my radar!

    1. Thank you! I used Sleek Makeup Contour Kit in Dark to Contour, Milani Matte Baked Blush in Bella Rosa and NARS Albatross Blush to highlight 🙂

  1. Hi Erica. I found your blog 2 weeks today and it has been pure delight. I love your posts, they are so detailed and very helpful. Please what products are you using on your eyes in the pictures on this post? I am in serious need of an everyday makeup look for work that is not heavy and this is just perfect. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

    1. Thank you so much, Yvonne! I’m using Eyeko Me & My Shadow Stick Shadow Liner in Chocolate all over my lid, Black Radiance Waterproof Eyeliner on the lashine and Cattiva Eyeliner on the waterline. I can’t remember what mascara I’m wearing. This has pretty much been my go to look for work for the past few months. Hope that helps!
