My birthday is tomorrow and since it falls on a weekday this year and I’ll be away this weekend I decided to have a little pre-birthday brunch at Cheryl’s Global Soul, a black-owned restaurant in my ‘hood. Let me tell y’all, the food was GOOD and the service, GREAT. Although the place is on the small side they did their best to accommodate my group and constantly checked in on us to make sure that we were good. Everyone enjoyed their meals without complaint. The brunch prices were very reasonable and all meals came with coffee or tea and a Mimosa or Bloody Mary.
