My line sister Nikki had a birthday dinner on Friday after work at East & West, the restaurant at Yotel which is a hotel in Hell’s Kitchen. The weather was beautiful and we were able to get a table out on the terrace so we had us a good old time.
We’ve been to East & West on another occasion and really enjoyed the food and drinks. The Asian fusion menu has some really great selections and the drinks are delicious. I had the White Swan which had grey goose vodka along with lillet blanc, aperol, muddled frozen white grapes and lemon with sparkling wine and it was absolutely deelish and presented so beautifully…
For dinner I had the seared tuna burger with sweet potato fries. The burger had pickled ginger, miso, mayo & charred scallion and was served on a toasted black sesame bun. The blend of flavors was well matched and the tuna was seared to perfection. It was amazing!
I also had some of the Spicy Tuna Roll which was amazing as well. We had this when we came before along with the Crispy Shrimp Dynamite and loved it.
Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks and everything was priced reasonably while portions were generous. We caught up, took lots of pictures and just enjoyed the evening.

I really enjoyed the evening and had a great time catching up with my girls. My Forever 21 maxi dress was perfect for the occasion while my Just Fab Paean Sandal complimented it nicely. Sometimes simple is the best way to go and black is so sophisticated. Anyway, fun times.
