I attended the Fashion on the Hudson 6 fashion show in Riverside Park on Saturday and it was just okay. It was moved inside at the last minute and I felt that it put a damper on the event as the layout made it really hard to focus your attention on the models and the runway was too small. Also, there were no signs or people showing you how to get to the event and I had a hard time finding it as it was pretty deep inside the park. I was really excited to attend Fashion on the Hudson as I missed it last year but overall I was disappointed. I hope that they move the show back outside next year and have a little more organization. Moving on…

I decided to throw on some boyfriend jeans with a blazer as I knew that it would be cool later on in the evening and I would be out late. This was my very first time wearing boyfriend jeans and I love how comfortable they are. I know that I am super late but I just could not find the perfect pair after searching for a while. Every pair that I found was either too big and sloppy looking or too tight. I originally ordered these online from H&M in a size larger and I was swimming in them but eventually found them in store and I am so glad that I was able to try them on as they were true to my normal size. I’m usually one size larger in everything at H&M.

A plain tee with a statement blazer and some funky shoes finished off the look nicely.

Lol Thanks Yoyo. I need me another pair or two as I can see myself wearing these a lot!
I love this look!!
Thank you Venessia. I hope all is well! 🙂
You look nice. I’ve been on the search for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans. I don’t know, maybe it’s cos I don’t have those waif like features, boyfriend jeans make me look boxy (I know we are going for the men inspired look). The fit is always weird for me,like being loose in the legs scrunched up at the hips and crotch and loose at the waist, even when I go a size bigger which makes it all the more funnier when I try holding it up with a belt. Ugh! Search goes on.
Thank you. Try to get a pair with some stretch, that worked for me in the end.
