I know that I mention it a lot but I have really bad dark under eye circles. They are mostly hereditary but not sleeping as much as I should doesn’t help either. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect concealer to hide them but the reality is I’ve been skipping a crucial step. In order to truly hide dark under eye circles you need to correct before you conceal. My under eye circles tends to be a shade of greyish blue and the best way to cancel out these tones for deep complexions is with peach and orange correctors. I received the new Kett Cosmetics Fixx Creme Corrector in shade CC Dark in my goodie bag from The Makeup Show NYC Blogger Preview and let me tell you it’s the truth!
The Kett Fixx Creme Corrector in CC Dark is a rich burnt orange. It’s not too bright and scary looking like some orange correctors can be and it’s smooth, creamy and blends like a dream. It also doesn’t dry out the under eye area and is enriched with Vitamins A, C, E and licorice root extract to nourish. All you need to do is put a small amount on your ring finger and gently pat and blend until your dark circles are covered. Here it is in action…

Before & After
After you correct you apply your concealer and set as usual. I currently conceal with L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Toffee and I’ve been using Graftobian HD LuxeCashmere Powder in Banana Cream Pie to set. This combination really brightens my under eye area and does a great job of hiding my under eye circles. Here is my finished look…
The Kett Cosmetics Creme Corrector Pans come in 3 shades Light, Medium and Dark.
Here are a few more orange correctors that you can give a try…

Bobbi Brown corrector , didn’t work for you? I do not really have dark circles,(hopefully never, fingers crossed) but use their concealer and I heard the Maybe line one is good.
I’ve never tried the Bobby Brown one.
Yes, I have the NYX one and I forgot about it. It does make a big difference. I also use LA Girl concealer which is awesome! I love that stuff!
