Brunch Like A Boss At SoCo

Brunch Like A Boss

Lately I’ve been really into simple silhouettes. Curve hugging but not scandalously tight trousers and high waist denim with crop tops, bustiers and blazers. I’ve also been wearing a lot of neutral colors again which may be boring to some but I’ve come to accept that that’s just my thing. I wore this ensemble to brunch with my girls on Sunday to one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn, SoCo. I paired an old beaded bustier with trousers in a similar shade and threw in a black blazer, shoes and bag to break up the monotony. I love these trousers so much that I have them in four different colors. They’ve had their fare share of wear here on the blog and I expect that you guys will be seeing a lot more of them.

SoCo is known for their famed Red Velvet Waffles and Buttermilk Fried Chicken and it’s one of my favorite dishes so of course I had to get it along with a Caramel Martini. For some reason this drink pairs very well with the dish.

The food was deelish and I had a ball catching up with my girls. Next time I head to SoCo I will have to force myself to try something new as there are so many amazing dishes on the menu.

When I’m not hunting down the latest and greatest beauty products, beating a face or lacing a do, you can find me roaming the streets of NYC in my stilettos looking for the next best restaurant. Or in the kitchen trying to outdo myself from the last time.

Thank you so much. The food is definitely delicious and it’s not too far from Brooklyn Bridge Park driving or taking public transit.
