I was sent a ton of the new Milani products for Spring 2014 so I’ve been trying to feed it to you guys in doses so that you won’t be overwhelmed. This is the last of the products out of the bunch that I received and includes mostly eye products along with one more lip product. Let’s start with the Eye Tech Perfection Eyeliner Pen.
The Eye Tech Perfection Eyeliner Pen ($7.49) has an ergonomic handle with a extreme felt tip point that is supposed to make it easier to line your eyes. I was excited to try this to see what the hype was all about with these new ergonomic eyeliners. I did not find it easier to use but kind of awkward, it was like learning to use eyeliner all over again.
The liquid liner is very pigmented and dries down to a vinyl like finish, however it takes forever to dry down and smudges all over my lids during the day. I’m not really impressed with this one and will stick with my other favorite eyeliners from the brand. If you have oily lids like mine then this one is probably not for you.
Next up we have the Brow & Eye Highlighters ($6.49). The pencils brighten, highlight and shapes brows with two sides, a creaming matte side with a non-creasing formula and a pearl side with a cream-to-powder formula and light diffusing pigments. It comes in three shades.
Vanilla/Natural Taupe: Both sides are matte. Vanilla can be used underneath the brow bone as a highlighter. It can also be used as an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. Natural Taupe can be used to define and fill-in brows and as an eyeshadow.
Matte Cream/Luminous Lift: Both sides can be used underneath the brow bone as a highlighter. Matte Cream can be used as an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. Luminous Lift can be used in the inner corners of the eyes to brighten.
Matte Beige/High Glow: Both sides can be used underneath the brow bone as a highlighter. Matte Beige can be used as an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. High Glow can be used in the inner corners of the eyes to brighten.

These are too light for me to use to fill and highlight my brows, however they work great as an eyeshadow base nope, doesn’t last all day and creases but great as inner v highlight.
Next up we have the Brow Shaping Clear Wax & Brow Shaping Clear Gel ($4.49 each). Both are made to help shape and tame unruly brows.
The Brow Shaping Clear Wax is a transparent gel-like wax with a matte finish that holds the brows into place and helps them to keep their shape. I apply a little on my brows, brush them into place and then fill/shape them. My brows stay put all day.
The Brow Shaping Clear Gel is a clear gel that shapes and tames the brows for a fuller more groomed look. Although it shapes the brows well it has a lighter hold then the wax and doesn’t keep brows in place as well.
Last but not least, the ($4.49) is a transparent lip liner that prevents lipstick and lipgloss from feathering or bleeding outside of the line. It can also be used as a lip primer to extend the wear of any lip product. It glides on smooth without tugging and does exactly what it’s supposed to do, keep my lipstick and lipgloss where I put it. I just wish that it came in a twist up form as sharpening this type of pencil wastes precious product.
Milani really brought their A Game with these new products and they will definitely help you keep your makeup game on point without breaking your budget. You can purchase the new products at your local Duane Reade, Walgreens, CVS and other stores that carry the brand or on milanicosmetics.com.

Since i don’t need the clear pencil to have a sharp line, i agree. Clear liners are something not to be without.
Your cat eye looks perfect. I was hoping it’d be easier to use that product, cause I suck at getting the line correct. I may still try it out.
Thank you. Creme eyeliner is easiest for me to use!
