The New Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss from Milani is a super shiny moisturizing gloss with a splash of color and long lasting wear. It’s not super thick or tacky but is a little sticky, enough that wind blown hair will stick to your lips. I was sent over eight of the fourteen shades to try out.
A doe foot wand applicator makes the glosses super easy to apply.
The glosses kind of fool you in the tube and with the exception of a few shades they are pretty sheer. I had to layer a few times to get the pigmentation shown above. They are great for a wash of color on the weekend or for those who prefer a more sheer lip color, but if you like a more pigmented gloss these are better for layering over a lipstick in a similar shade to enhance the color or transform a matte shade to a glossier finish. Black Cherry looks awesome over MAC Talk That Talk lipstick and I’ve been wearing the combo a lot. It’s my favorite out of the bunch with Red My Lips as a close second. They are also the most pigmented of the group of shades that I was sent over.
Top: Coral Crush, Sweet Grapefruit, Ravish Raspberry
Middle: Berry Tempting, Red My Lips, Black Cherry
Bottom: Brown Berry, Mauve Fetish
Overall the Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Glosses are super pretty and very affordable at $5.49 each. I just wish that they were a little more pigmented and closer to the shade in the tube, especially Berry Tempting which looked promising but fell short. Find in a store near you that carries the brand such as CVS, Duane Reade, Walgreens and Target here in NYC or purchase online at www.milanicosmetics.com.

Good to know, I am def unless very unique color, not spending a lot on glosses no more.
I feel you. I’m not big on glosses, more of a lipstick girl but these are pretty inexpensive and you get a lot.
I totally agree with you. I bought about 4 of them and felt like I could have just gotten 2 of them because they were so sheer. I thought the berry tempting was going to be rich and dark but it was no different from the ravish raspberry
I agree. I actually like the Ravish Raspberry better. Berry Tempting has very little color payoff.
