Sleek MakeUp has released 2 new Blush by 3 blush palettes for Spring 2014, Pink Lemonade and Californ.I.A. Each palette includes 3 complimentary shades that can be worn separately or layered for more intensity and longer wear.
The Pink Lemonade Blush by 3 has two shimmering powder blushes and one cream blush in shades of pink.
Icing Sugar– shimmering pale lavender pink powder
Macaroon – rose pink cream
Pink Mint – shimmering rose gold
The Californ.I.A Blush by 3 has three cream blushes in shades of peachy corals.
Newport Peach – pink toned coral cream
The Surf– light peach with gold shimmer
OC – peach toned coral
Both Blush by 3’s have good pigmentation and color payoff. The powder shades are very frosty and Icing Sugar is very dry with a lot of fallout, while Pink Mint applies smooth. All of the cream shades glide on smooth and The Surf would work great as a highlight. Both of these palettes are better suited for lighter complexions. If you are darker like myself they will give an ashy cash to the skin which is not cute. I wish the shades were a tad bit deeper, especially the creams. You can find the new Blush by 3’s at a Superdrug store near you or at www.sleekmakeup.com for $14.99 each.
