A primer that gives you a healthy glow and keeps you shine free all day? Yes please and thank you! The new Laura Mercier Radiance Bronze Foundation Primer is infused with a sheer bronze pearlescent tint which gives the skin a glowing from within look. The shade is perfect for the brown skinned beauties.
The water based primer is infused with jojoba oil and vitamins A, C and E. It dries down to a demi-matte finish and foundation glides on smooth and easy. It’s housed in a squeeze tube just like the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer making it easy to dispense the product.
It may be a little too dark if you are fair skinned but it is perfect for the brown skinned beauties. Besides using it as a base for foundation application, you can wear it alone or mixed with your moisturizer to give the skin a sun kissed look or use it as an illuminator to highlight your face where the light hits. You can even use it to highlight your decolletage. It truly is a multitasker. Here I am wearing just the Radiance Bronze Primer with a sheer layer of my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer on top…
All you need is a dime sized amount to cover the entire face and it dries quick. The primer really helps to even out your skintone and give the appearance of healthy glowing skin. I didn’t need much tinted moisturizer at all. Here is how my face looked after applying my highlight, setting powders and the rest of my makeup…
and here is how my face looked 7 hours later without any touch ups or blotting…
Overall I look tired but my makeup is still in place, my skin is still glowing and best of all there is no trace of oil in my t-zone. I’ve been wearing this primer for the past week straight and I am in love. It will be a staple in my collection and will definitely be in my beach bag this Summer to give me that bronzed beauty look without needing makeup. This primer is a winner and really has me wanting to try additional primers and other products from the brand.

What lip color. And blush are you wearing
MAC Impassioned Lipstick and new Milani Matte Baked Blush in Bella Rosa
Did you use a foundation after or primer only?? Either way I’m sold!!!!! Lol!!!
I used just the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.
The finish on the primer is quite nice. Looks like no foundation is really needed to give great coverage. Me likes! I do have a question though- I use MAC’s studio fix concealer in NW 45 under my eyes & I set it with my Ben Nye powder in Topaz. However, I notice that the concealer tends to crease throughout the day with continual wear. Any thoughts on how to prevent this? Or have you found that there’s another concealer that performs better underneath the eyes? Thanks in advance for your help! Keep the reviews coming! Because of your blog, I bought a NARS blush in Taj Mahal. It’s stunning on my brown skin ☺️
I find MAC Studiofix Concealer to be a little heavy for under eye use. I like the Pro Longwear concealer and my current fave is the L.A. Girl Pro HD Concealer.
Love that natural glow look that it gives. I have the illuminator which I love and I will be giving this primer a try. Btw what lipstick are you wearing?Cute!
I’m wearing MAC Impassioned!
This is lovely! I am going to give this a try! It looks great against your skin. Almost like you are wearing nothing at all. It really does give a health glow. I have super oily skin and nothing seems to work really well. I have tried Milk of Magnesia and Mac prep and prime. I have a list of things to try and I will add this to the list. Love your blog by the way. I’m always on the look out for brown girl bloggers. I’m happy I found you. Thank you!
I am so glad that you are enjoying the blog. I have oily skin as well and this primer works wonders. You should love it!
This is exactly what I need!
Simply gorgeous!!!! I will be at Sephora this week to get this primer:)
What color of the LA pro concealer do u wear under your eye?
I use Toffee to highlight under the eye
I LOVE!!! what shade are you in the tinted moisturizer?
Mocha!
Hi Erica, do you thnk this primer would work for folks who use a bb cream for light coverage? So could this be used prior to a bb cream? Thanks
Yes it does work but your skin won’t stay as matte. When i used it with a BB Cream I had to blot my nose a few times
i went in a got the sephora deluxe sample. I love it! Thanks for these post. Love the lip & blush combo
Thank you and you are so welcome!
You are so gorgeous, I instantly feel in love with your makeup looks…how do your prevent the under eye concealer from creasing. This is a big problem for me. Thanks!
Thank you so much. This is a big problem for me as well as I have watery eyes and always rub them. I keep setting powder with me to buff out the creases. I have noticed though with thinner concealers that if I apply a double layer and really press in my banana powder it won’t crease
Are you sure the concealer is Toffee? I went in search and could only find Toast.
I’m absolutely positive. I just reviewed it about 2 weeks ago
Thanks. I’ll check again. Love your blog!
Thanks hon and no problem!
Your skin looks luminous. I would love to use that product on my clients.
It’s perfect to keep in your kit!
you are gorg! love your blog! this look is amazing and i luv me some Laura Mercier anything. LOL! what powder (if any) are you wearing with this look?
Thank you and I am glad that you are enjoying the blog!
I’m wearing Ben Nye Banana Powder to set my highlight and Ben Nye Neutral Set all over.
Would that primer work for very dark skin.. darker than you?? Love your site…just bookmarked it!
Glad you are enjoying the site… Yes it will work
I know this is a super old post but I LOVE this product and found out the Laura Mercier doesn’t make it anymore and am trying to A) find any leftovers somewhere to hoard or B) looking for another product that works similarly. The lady at Sephora recommended Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow primer. Not sure what I feel about it but wonder if you had found a product that works similarly to Laura Mercier’s?
I’ve noticed for a while now that this primer has been getting harder to find, and figured that it would soon no longer be available.I had stocked up and am now on my last bottle. But to achieve the same glow effect I’d suggest mixing a drop of liquid illuminator with your primer or foundation. That’s what I was actually doing before I started using this primer and it’s what I’ll do once I run out xo
