Macy’s Herald Square is undergoing a major renovation expected to be complete in 2015. The Cosmetics & Fragrance Department and Men’s Store located on the 1st floor is finally complete and I attended a blogger breakfast this morning to celebrate the grand opening. OMG it is huge and absolutely gorgeous! The Impulse Beauty section gives customers a Sephora-like experience where you are able to browse and test products, asking for help when you need it. I love this as I don’t always want someone in my face. A lot of times I know what I am looking for and prefer to just browse myself. The section includes brands like Urban Decay, Tarte, Smashbox Benefit, Inglot (wow) and there is also a Blow Blow Pro Dry Bar where you can get your hair did. Go on ahead with your bad self Macy’s!
With more space Macy’s made room for some new brands including Kiehl’s, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Tom Ford, Joe Malone and La Mer…
and Laurier Mercier, who was there to cut the ribbon on the counter!

Macy’s didn’t forget about the men as they have their own little skincare section with Art of Shaving and Estee Lauder’s Lab Series…
There are also lots of fragrance counters and let’s not forget the Men’s store on the other side. I am really impressed with the new layout and can see myself spending hours in there often… as if I need anymore makeup smh.
