How To Wear Black to a Wedding

Back in the day wearing black to a wedding was considered to be a Fashion Faux Pas and some still stick hard and fast to this rule, but not me. I think that a little black dress can take you anywhere and looks super chic for a wedding, especially an evening wedding. It’s all about how you accessorize. A LBD needs to be livened up with colors or prints, in my case animal prints and metallics…

I chose to wear this little black skater dress with metallic threading and a sweetheart neckline. Found it at a street fair vendor for 20 bucks!

I love the flow of the dress, it’s so feminine, flirty and best of all shows off my legs 🙂

I paired the dress with bronze ankle strap sandals with a jeweled front and an animal print, calf hair back along with a bronze snakeskin clutch.I kept my jewelry simple with a rose gold watch and black post earrings trimmed in gold.
