Layla Cosmetics is best known for their variety of awesome nail polish but did you know that the brand has a makeup collection as well? I didn’t. I received a sample of the Layla Pro Eye Primer Perfect Fix in my bag from TMS NYC Blogger Preview and I am really impressed. It works great, makes eyeshadow more vibrant and keeps it on all day!
The primer comes in a small tube with a doe foot wand applicator for easy application.The formula has a texture similar to that of Urban Decay Primer Potion, it applies like a thick cream and dries down to a matte, neutral finish.

I get 12+ hours of eyeshadow wear with my oily lids, this is applied directly on top of the primer with no other base. Here is a wear test using MAC Vex Eyeshadow, first applied at 7:30am…
Here it is at almost 7:30pm…
As you can see my eyeshadow is mostly still in place and slightly starting to crease in the inner corners. I was able to wear my eyshadow until 11:30 pm with barely anymore creasing than this. That is awesome wear and this is now my new favorite primer!
Layla Pro Eye Primer Perfect Fix retails at $18.99 (?) but unfortunately I can’t tell you where to purchase it as I could not find it on their website (shop.laylacosmetics.it). I emailed the company for more information but haven’t heard back as of yet, I will update this post when I get more info.
