Keep Your Lips Soft & Supple with E.L.F. Studio Lip Exfoliator

I came across the E.L.F. Studio Lip Exfoliator on a recent trip to the Studio Store. It was the best $3 I ever spent on a beauty product!

E.L.F. Studio Lip Exfoliator

I remember a good 10 years back I tried a lip exfoliator from Mary Kay, a 2 step system with a type of scrub and a moisturizing balm. It worked very well but was about $15 and I remember thinking that is way too expensive for something you can make yourself. I did not repurchase nor did I ever buy another lip exfoliator. Didn’t make one myself either which makes no sense since my lips get extremely dry and chapped especially in the Winter months. I don’t care how “moisturizing” the formula is, constant use of lipstick will dry out your lips. Even when wearing a balm underneath. Trust me. Well while browsing the E.L.F. Studio Store on my recent trip I came across the Studio Lip Exfoliator. The ingredients looked great and it was only $3 so I purchased it, best $3 ever spent on a beauty product!

The E.L.F. Lip Exfoliator comes in a twist up tube like a lipstick making it easy to apply. The main ingredient and exfoliating agent is Sugar which is clearly visible and quite tasty, you must try not to lick it off lol. It also includes nourishing oils such as Avocado, Grape Seed and Jojoba as well as Shea Butter and Vitamin E. To use you simply apply to your clean damp lips and massage in a circular motion to exfoliate. Wet a cotton pad to remove the excess and that’s it. Follow up with a moisturizing balm and you’re good to go, you can use lipstick or gloss right after too. I like to do it at night and apply an intensive moisturizing balm for super soft and supple, kissable lips in the am.

The E.L.F. Lip Exfoliator does exactly what it’s supposed to do and leaves your lips super soft. It’s easy to apply and not too rough without a ton of added ingredients. Yeah you can just make your own but won’t be losing out at $3 a tube for a pre-made, easy to use concoction. I’d gladly pay that opportunity cost! Available at eyeslipsface.com $3

The product(s) in this post was purchased with my own money. See my Disclosure page for additional information.
