It’s been a very eventful and fun filled weekend for me. My little man graduated on Friday and will be going to Junior High School in the Fall. And he turned 11 years old today. We’ve been celebrating all weekend with a BBQ, Go Kart Racing, a picnic and today we went out to eat at a burger spot and went to see Monsters University which was too cute. He’s becoming such a big boy and growing so fast that it makes me nervous. I noticed today that his voice is starting to crack, I’m not ready for all of this yet! lol

Little man really enjoyed his entire weekend and so did I. He drives me up the wall at times but I love my boy and I am very proud of him.

  1. Happy Birthday to your son! Love this photo shoot! Y’all look so happy and look like you have tons of fun! They grow up so fast!

  2. such a great picture, and congrats, Is that Burger spot the Counter? If not, you have to try it

  3. You look gorge as usual and your little man looks just like you. He is so blessed to have a strong, confident, beautiful black woman rearing him. You set the bar for him when it comes to women so you probably (prayerfully) won’t have to deal with the typical chickens that seem to be everywhere. He’s going to want women of substance and class. Keep up the good work. He looks like a happy, well-balanced young man on his way. Before you know it, it’s gonna be his high school graduation. My oldest graduated last year.

    P.S.,
    That dress is EVERYTHING!!

    Peace and Blessings,
    Shani
