The Block Heel is totally hot this Spring and I gladly jumped on this trend. After doing an overhaul of my shoe collection I invested in a few pairs of flats and lower heeled shoes as all of mine were sky high, yes all of them. I’m not exactly a “Spring Chicken” anymore so I have to preserve my knees and back and switch it up here and there lol. My favorite of my recent shoe purchases has to be the Kelsi Dagger Carmanita Low Block Heel Sandal. I just love everything about these babies and couldn’t wait to wear them. I went to the African Dance Festival at The Brooklyn Academy of Music today and decided to take my new loves out for a spin since I knew that I would be doing a lot of walking. I paired it with some gold metallic jeans and a boyfriend blazer.

Kelsi Dagger Carmanita Block Heel Sandal
Goldenbleu Bag (similar)

I walked around for hours and my feet were fine. These shoes are sooooo comfortable. I really need to invest in a few more pairs in this style.

Midi Rings is another trend that I am loving, I am really digging the look. I found this cute set at Forever 21 along with this gorgeous polish, Love & Beauty in Neon Purple. Such a gorgeous shade. I hope you guys are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend!

Yea u rock, I also brought some nine west “sneakers” yesterday, saying I don’t need no more heels. (Wearing the heels I brought too now)
That’s what I’ve been doing. Taking out the ones that I know I am not going to wear and trying to wear the rest. I have too many pieces clothing and shoes that I neglect to wear and always want something new smh
beautiful as usual! love what you did with the hair, i recently got mine in and i’m not ready to put it up in a ponytail just yet, lol
Thanks hon. Oh I know that feeling, I had to wait at least a week lol
The color of your naillacquer is so punchy!!! I like it!
Thank you. It was hard to capture on camera but its really a true neon purple, definitely after a few days
Love the outfit! Those shoes are fabulous.
Thank you Ashley!
Those midi rings look so cute, but I’d always imagined that they’d feel awkward or like they’re about to fall off. Are they comfortable? And that nail color looks really great on you BTW.
Thank you so much. I’ve noticed that when wearing the rings casually they are fine and don’t bother me, but at work when I’m typing and doing other stuff they can get uncomfortable and I take them off
