This just may be the primer of all primers. Another product that I was really excited about receiving in my bag from TMS NYC Blogger Preview, Nurturing Force Blot Out Offensive. Nurturing Force Wellness Aloe Vera Skincare Blot Out Offensive Shine + Oil Control Cream is an instant matte HD primer and barrier cream that moisturizes while controlling oil. It was developed for professional makeup artists that expressed their problems with skin impacted & damaged by harsh working environments, extreme temperatures, stressful long hours and lack of rest. The cruelty-free formula is free of parabens, silicones, color, fragrance and alcohol making it perfect for sensitive, overworked skin.
The fast absorbing cream creates an anti-shine canvas for makeup application and canย be used with all product types including liquids, powders, creams, mineral makeup, body art and airbrush makeup. It can be used on the face, body and head, pretty much anywhere that you need to control oil and shine.
As you can see the cream gives a very matte finish. It is lightweight and spreads easily making it easy to apply. Simply massage into the skin using fingers or a sponge until completely absorbed. You can also wear it alone to control oil and it is good for sensitive and blemish prone skin, in fact the very first ingredient is Aloe Vera Gel. There are trace ingredients of sunscreen in the form of titanium dioxide but not enough that you don’t need to put on additional sunscreen or enough to have problems with flash photography. I’ve been using it as a primer under my makeup and man this stuff is the truth! Makeup applies smooth and easy and last all day without touching up. I only have to gently blot my nose midday. It even controls the oil on my super oily eyelids. Here is my makeup applied at 8 am, I used Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation…
Now here it is 12 hours later at about 8pm…
It has slightly faded and I am developing raccoon eyes but for the most part it still looks good, especially after 12 hours of wear. That’s a long time for my oily/combo skin. With the minimal ingredients and great performance this is definitely perfect to add to your makeup artist kit, it will surely be going into mine! Nurturing Force Blot Out Offensive retails at $25 and may be purchased at www.nurturingforce.com

Thanks for the informative post! I’m always interested in reading these kinds of reviews since I have oily/combo skin…especially now that the summer months are approaching. ๐
No problem hon. Have to look out for my oily/combo girls ๐
Your skin still looks good! More of a nice, dewy look after 12 hours. Not sure I would pay $25, but thanks for showing another option!
No problem Ashley. I don’t splurge too much when it comes to beauty items but I would actually pay for this one. You only need a tiny amount so a jar will last really long even with daily use and my skin is loving the ingredients.
Wow! That’s really impressive, especially after 12 hours!
Yup I’ve been using it daily and I love it!
I’ve been let down by sooooo many! But I am willing to give it another try…love the review & thanx for looking out for us oily skin girls!
