I have a bunch of eyeshadow bases including a few shimmering neutral shades, but all are either white pearl or pink toned champagne in color. I’ve been missing a simple shimmering beige, that is until I happened upon Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal 24 HR Cream Gel Eyeshadow in Barely Branded.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal 24 HR Cream Gel Eyeshadow is a warm beige with a metallic finish. It is lightweight, creamy and may be applied sheer or built up to full coverage. It can be worn alone or used as a base for powder eyeshadows. Once it dries it doesn’t budge or crease and stays on all day. It even holds up to my oily lids.
I usually use a primer under for extra crease protection and set with a powder eyeshadow in a similar shade like Urban Decay’s Bootycall in my Naked 2 Palette. Barely Branded is the perfect neutral shade to go with all of your shimmering nude eyeshadows. I am sure I will be reaching for this a lot as I love a nude eye and a bold lip. It is also great for highlighting the tear ducts (inner v), brow bones and even the cheekbones when applied lightly. This baby is very versatile and collection worthy for sure, especially at the good old price of around $6-$8 ( I found it for under $6 at Walmart.)
Look for it at Target, Walmart, Ulta, Rite Aid, Duane Reade or any store near you that carries Maybelline products.

I love this for the eye crease, it’ll make all your other eye shadows pop!
