Although the still freezing temps in NYC doesn’t say so, Spring is right around the corner. It’s almost about that time to start putting away the deep vamp colors and pulling out the bright Spring lippies. I like to gradually brighten up my lips this time of year with a nice pink that screams Winter is not quite over but I am so ready for Spring. In comes Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Belladonna.
Belladonna is a deep pink with a cream, high gloss finish. It is extremely pigmented, non-sticky and is very long wearing. Even through a meal it stays on well and only needs minimal touching up. It comes in a squeeze tube applicator making it easy to apply just the right amount and a pearl sized drop is all you need for opaque coverage. It doesn’t have a strong fragrance or taste, barely any.
Belladonna is bright but not in your face so making it perfect to wear while you transition between seasons. It’s sure to brighten up the last of these cold and dreary Winter days (and nights :)) It is a very versatile shade and will look good on a variety of skin tones, this is one for everyone!
Illamasqua lipgloss retails at $22 and can be purchased at www.sephora.com or in Sephora stores.

Do you think any of the new milani lippies are close to that color? I don’t think I will be picking up the Illamasqua. it looks absolutely gorgeous on you. Just stumbled onto your blog and i really like it. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much. None of them are exactly the same but some of the pinks are a little close. Maybe Hot Pink Rage or Rose Amour… Check this post
Do you find this gloss to be moisturizing at all?
I’m not sure if its moisturizing as I always use a moisturizing balm under gloss to protect my lips. However,I don’t find it to be drying.
