Milani’s new Color Statement line of lipstick for SS13 features 30 color rich shades with a moisturizing formula that contains Vitamins A, C and E to nourish lips. It’s replacing Milani’s old lipsticks, out with the old and in with the new. The lipsticks are available in 6 different finishes Vinyl, Metallic, Cream, Shimmer, Pearl & Matte. Best of all they are paraben free. The lightweight, creamy formula boasts one stroke for full coverage. Check out the oranges and reds in the lineup…
(in same order as above)
The Color Statement lipsticks are extremely pigmented and moisturizing but most took about two light coats to achieve full coverage. They are housed in a sleek gold tube with a clear bottom to allow you to see the shade and the lipsticks are true to tube color. They smell like watermelon jolly rancher candy which is awesome but don’t have any taste that I can detect. They apply smooth and creamy with no streaking. Check them out on the lips…
Sweet Nectar (cream) bright orange
Orange-Gina (pearl) bronze toned orange
High Voltage (vinyl) bright orange toned red
Red Label (cream) bright true red
Ruby Valentine (vinyl) deep red
Cherry Crave (metallic) red pearl metallic
Best Red (matte) true matte red
These colors are awesome! I especially love Sweet Nectar which reminds me of MAC Morange, it will be gorgeous for Summer and Orange-Gina as well which would look great on tanned skin. High Voltage is also a beauty and great for those that want to try bright lipstick without going too extreme. The selection of reds covers all bases and is right on time for those Valentine’s Day looks. The lipsticks are long wearing and really are moisturizing. To go along with the lipsticks Milani also released the Color Statement Lipliners in 8 shades with a long-wearing, easy glide formula. Nude and True Red are the perfect shades to go along with the red & orange lipsticks. Tip: True Red + High Voltage= Beautiful!
Nude (cool toned pink nude) & True Red (bright true red)
The Milani Color Statement Lipsticks retail at $5.49 each while the Lipliners retail at $3.99. You can find them at CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart and Kmart. I will be reviewing the rest of the shades in the Color Statement line by group, next up Pinks & Corals so stay tuned!

i’ma need to get my hands on that sweet nectar and orangina…I like the redswhy tho do the last three lippies look the same…:-( it’s hard to tell which on is which. I think they could have done better with the shade variations but over all i like the reds too
In the pics they do look very similar but in person you can tell them apart, although they are still similar. If you didn’t own any red lipsticks then this group would complete your collection, you wouldn’t need anymore 😉
Love the red lipsticks .must have asap
It’s a very nice assortment. I highly recommend High Voltage!

Oooh Wee! These colors are gorgeous!!!! Thanks for sharing them with us!!!! 🙂
No problem 🙂
This isn’t related to lipsticks at all but I love your eyeliner! What is it?
Thank you! It’s Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner in Nonstop on the upper lash line and Milani Liiquif’eye eyeliner in Aqua on the waterline
I’m so in love with reds right now, I gravitate towards the “Red Label” option, but I’m a little apprehensive about going for an orange tone, even though it suits you so well.
