Wintry weather can be very harsh on the skin leaving it looking dry and dull. A quick way to perk up your face is with a berry hued blush to give a natural looking flush to the cheeks. Illamasqua Cream Blush in Crush is perfect for this.

The deep raspberry red cream blush has a dewy finish and provides a natural looking “winter flush” to the cheeks. It is very creamy and super blendable. Crush can be applied very sheer or built up for more intense color. You may use your fingers or a brush, whatever works best for you. I use my e.l.f. blush brush to layer and blend until I get the intensity that I desire.  It lights up my entire face with a gorgeous glow and stays put all day without making me oily. This is my new favorite blush for Winter.

All you need is a very small amount as it has great pigmentation and the staying power is good as well. It is very lightweight on the skin and not heavy or greasy. 1. OMG! That is soooo pretty! I don’t have any cream blushes because I’m afraid I won’t be able to apply it right.

    1. You should try it. I find it easier to apply and blend out then powder blush. You can just dab it on with your fingers and blend.

  2. Beautiful! Reminds me of my L’Oreal HiP Blendable Blushing Cream in GLORIOUS. I’ve neglectedmy cream blushes this winter. I should use them as bases for my powder blushes. I do not own any Illamasqua products. Their nail polishes look interesting though. Thanks for sharing. Great pics. Awesome post.

    1. Thx Sha. I had got rid of all of my cream blushes b/c they were old so this is my only one at the moment. I’m new to Illamasqua as well and I have some more goodies to review so stay tuned 🙂

  3. This is a gorgeous color! It looks beautiful on you!!!! I’ve been looking for a new blush for the longest time, however, this one is a tad bit out of my price range! 🙁 I’ve neglected to look at cream blushes due to my occasional breakouts on my cheeks. Would I be able to use them? Or would they cause a hindrance to my skin due to the cream ingredients?

    1. Thank you so much! 🙂
Now will it break you out? I can’t exactly answer that. So far it has not made me break out but everyone’s skin is different so what works for me may not work for you.

  4. This blush is so beautiful on you. Illamasqua has some beautiful looking products but I wasn’t sure if they were complimentary to chocolate skin. Now I’ll check them out.

    1. Thank you so much. Their products are very brown girl friendly. I am trying out some other stuff so stay tuned for more reviews.

  5. So beautiful shade!
That brand is very expensive in France but I definitely gonna purchase this blush! Works good on dark skins!
