Another nude eyeshadow palette on the scene. Yup, that’s right another one. This time from Senna Cosmetics. The Haute Nudes Sultry Eye & Face Palette features six warm nude eyeshadows in hues of rich browns and of course a traditional milky nude is in the mix. The palette also includes a blush and highlighting powder to compliment the eyeshadows along with three mini brushes for on the go application. Perfect to put in your purse and go!
Top Row: New Moon, Sand, Tiger Lily
Bottom Row: Palomino, Tigress, Havana
Left to right: New Moon , Sand, Tiger Lily, Palomino, Tigress, Havana
The shadows are very rich with excellent pigmentation. They all compliment each other nicely and are perfect for everyday wear. All of the shades are matte except for Tigress which is a shimmer with a texture similar to MAC Veluxe Pearls, very smooth and buttery. In fact the matte shadows are just as buttery and apply smooth. No splotchiness or patchiness over here.
The blush and highlighter are just as smooth with awesome pigmentation as well but unfortunately they are not dark brown girl friendly. The blush looks ashy and the highlighter just leaves a ton of gold glitter on the cheeks. Would be gorgeous on lighter skin though. Although they don’t work on the face, the blush and highlighter can still be used as eyeshadows so they don’t go to waste. They pair very well with the eyeshadow shades in the palette.
Everything is encased in a sleek gold compact .
The Senna Haute Nudes Sultry Eye & Face Palette comes with a tutorial insert that shows you how to create two looks with the palette, one for day and one for night. Sorry I didn’t snap a pic. There is also another Haute Nudes Palette, Mystic, and it features cool toned nudes. The Haute Nudes Eye & Face Palettes retail at $48 and can be purchased at www.sennacosmetics.com
The colors in this palette are just beautiful, I saw it on The Beauty Sample as well and was surprised by how nice it looks! It’s too bad that the blush and highlighter aren’t more universal though
It’s a gorgeous palette. I wish the blush and highlighter worked for me but hey, now I have two extra eyeshadows and oversized at that 🙂
