I really like the formulation of the Milani Even-Touch Powder Foundation, and Creamy Cocoa matches my NW45 complexion pretty well for the Winter months.

First of all, I really like the formulation of this foundation. It has Aloe Vera Extract to soothe and moisturize the skin and the oil-free powder is super fine and silky smooth. It is really easy to blend and the coverage can be built up from light to medium. There is a hidden compartment in the bottom of the compact that contains a sponge that can be used for application but I prefer to use a flat top powder brush to buff it in. For more full coverage you will want to use the sponge as it applies more product at once. The foundation controls my oil pretty well too without touch ups.

In the picture above I am wearing a very light layer of the foundation and it looks as if I am wearing nothing. It has a very natural finish although matte, no cake face. All in all it is a great foundation for those who like lighter coverage. If you have any blemishes you will need to use a concealer along with this foundation. Creamy Cocoa matches my NW45 complexion pretty well for the Winter months but it will be too light for the Summer. When I first apply the foundation it leans a little too cool but as it melts into my skin it warms up and neutralizes. 1. This is a nice light coverage. They don’t really have a color that fits me so I have never tried this product before. I think MAC gives a more flawless finish.

  2. I notice you said it has a cool finish. I have a yellow undertone so I’m not nw45 (even though everytime I go to MAC they think I am) but I’m Trinidad in NARS. Do you think this powder would work for me?

    1. I am NW45 in MAC and Trinidad in NARS, I have yellow and red undertones, depending on the time of year. I would say that this foundation is neutral but sometimes leans cool. It may just be my wishy washy skin, it may work for you.. I updated the post to clarify what I meant. It should for you. At first it may appear to be too cool but as it melts into your skin it will warm up.

  3. I’m curious…how does this compare to the Multitasker Face Powder? I purchased that one a while ago (still haven’t used it yet though), and I took a look at your review of it and they seem like they do pretty much the same thing? Which do you prefer?
