I recently ran out of one of my favorite polishes of all time- China Glaze For Audrey, and was bummed when I couldn’t find it in any of my local stores. That was until I ran into Wet n’ Wild’s Megalast Salon Nail Color in I Need A Refresh-Mint. In the bottle it appeared to be an exact dupe. And indeed it is.
First of all I Need A Refresh-Mint is not mint on me at all. But more like a robin’s egg blue. Just like For Audrey. It’s funny how one shade can look different on so many people. The formula is pretty thick in a good way. It’s opaque in one coat, but the brush can make it a bit streaky. So I used two. Speaking of the brush, I have mixed feelings on it.
I guess it’s trying to copy OPI’s wide brush but it doesn’t work as well. The polish gets caught in the bristles in a weird way unless you pile on a lot but if you put too much you will get air bubbles. I guess I need to practice with it more. Moving on, the formula is pretty good. It’s supposed to be chip resistant for up to five days and I admit that even with how rough I am on my nails it held up for almost a week with minimal chipping. Especially my left hand which had no chipping at all. I was so impressed that I put it in on for another week.
The Wet n’ Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color is Toluene, phthalate, and formaldehyde free and retails for $1.99 and can be found in a drugstore near you or on drugstore.com.

That color is so bright, not sure how it would look on me, what topcoat did you use? Wondering if that made the polish last so long.
It would look great on you! First time I used a Milani Top Coat. In this post I’m wearing Seche Vite.
I got this last year when I was trying to find a dupe to do my Tiffany Box mani, Its actually not that bright.
