I originally posted about this shade when it first came out, but since my pics were so crappy back then (sucks but true) I decided to update this post for you guys. Let me start by saying that Mint Candy Apple is absolutely GORGEOUS! A pastel mint green creme from the Winter 2009 Sweet Time of the Year Collection. Looking at it in the bottle I thought it would be streaky since a lot of pastels are streaky… It wasn’t! Opaque in two heavy coats or three light coats, but it dries faster if you go with the light coats. You have to take your time and try to be very precise or you will end up with a mess as the polish is pretty thin. In the bottle this kind of reminds me of China Glaze For Audrey but it’s less blue on the nails. This is one of the most talked about Essie polishes and it is definitely worth the hype. It’s gorgeous for Winter and Spring but it will work in any season!
Although this shade is now hard to find in stores it is available online at Ulta & Nordstrom $8
