The Limited Edition Anastasia “She Wears It Well” Palette for Fall 2012 is a nude eyeshadow palette inspired by 1930s Hollywood Glamor. It features six shimmer and three matte shades in nude and neutral hues. The Illumin8 formula features Youthful Synergy Complex, which is clinically proven to illuminate, firm, and hydrate the skin. The shadows can also be used wet for more intensity. The palette has a mirror and a small dual-ended brush for on the go application.
Trophy Shimmering Light Taupe
Glow Shimmering Golden Brown
Latte Shimmering Champagne
Foxy Shimmering Copper Infused with Gold
Frosting Shimmering Pale Pink
Onyx Matte Charcoal Black
Almond Matte Beige
Toffee Matte Light Brown
Sunset Shimmering Taupe
All of the swatches were done without a primer and as you can see the shadows are very pigmented. They apply smooth (with the exception of Almond which was a little patchy), blend well, and stay on all day over a primer and/or base. The shades really pop with a primer. I am really impressed with Onyx and Toffee which have great pigmentation for mattes. The included brush is pretty blah and doesn’t apply the shadows too well. Overall this is a great palette, the shades are perfect for day or night, any occasion.
I was also sent these cute cards from PR with different looks that you can create using the She Wears It Well Palette and directions. These cards do not come with the palette and were sent for PR purposes but here is a close up of the looks and directions so that you can try them. I will definitely be trying them out!
