NARS Exhibit A is the very first blush that I purchased from NARS and the one that made me fall in love. OMG this has to be THEE blush of all blushes. It is the most pigmented blush that I have in my collection. Extremely scary in the pan and just as scary on the cheeks if you don’t apply correctly lol.
Exhibit A is a super bright, extremely pigmented, matte orange red. You have to be very careful when applying this blush as it is easy to go overboard. Even a small dip of a blush brush is sometimes too much. I usually apply with a fan brush and build the intensity until I am satisfied.
Exhibit A applies smooth and blends well. You can buff it into the skin to achieve that “natural flush.” Gorgeous on dark skin, even the darkest of dark. Brown Skinned Beauties, this is another must have. If you are fair skinned Exhibit A can work for you as well, you just have to be very gentle with application. Long lasting, it stays on through the entire work day without fading. Since it is a show stopper in itself, I usually wear it with winged liner and mascara and a red lip. I am wearing Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Purty Persimmon in this post.
NARS blush retails for $28 and can be purchased at NARS, Sephora and department store counters that carry NARS. If you lucked out and snatched up the Limited Edition Sleek MakeUp Scandalous Blush from the Stiletto Collection, it is almost an exact dupe. You can see swatches and a comparison here. MAC Pro Blush in Devil is very similar but a bit more orange with a fine shimmer. If you know of any more dupes feel free to put it in the comments.
